The construction of an aquarium requires commitment, style, personality and fantasy.
For this exhibition I wanted to inspire you to recreate a corner of nature contained in just 120 liters.
The idea came to me looking at the aquarium a great friend and expert aquarium Mark Sitz that simply was able to give a touch of wild to their aquariums.
not to leave anything to chance, I studied all the details, making sketches on paper of how the work should have been finished.

As you have noticed we should not be a skilled designers to create one.

First to start with the preparation we have all the elements that make it ready to use and clean. So do not be always be at hand scissors, brushes, wool Perlon and grips for the inclusion of the plants (I personally do this operation by hand). First I
scrupulously clean wood. To do this I simply used a brush and water as the size of the wood is not allowed to boil it.

Having already decided several weeks to make a new layout, I intentionally neglected to clean the aquarium glass in the meantime they were covered a thin green patina that inevitably I had to delete.
To do this I decided not to use scrapers that could jeopardize the aquarium glass and I preferred to use a piece of Perlon wool and elbow grease I was also best on the green patina.

Satisfied with glass cleaner, I started to have white sand at my leisure. I used the same sand in the previous setting after thorough cleaning of the same ..

And yes, algae accompany the life of an aquarium. At first it appeared to them I had a disease, but today I have learned to live as an aquarium without algae in my opinion is unnatural and non-existent. This is not to say that we should neglect our aquarium, even the true skill of the aquarium is to be able to contain the growth of our dear friends algae.

With the help of a network and the nylon I carefully tied the legs of Hydrocotyle leucocephala in such a way as to obtain a compact mat of these particular leaves.

The tank was half full so as to help me to better integrate the long-stemmed plants. I proceeded to bury the mat Hydrocotyle leucocephala. The screen is therefore not visible to the naked eye, and I hope with the growth of new leaves is even better camouflaged in the future.
I proceeded to put the plants in sequence and sectors so as to make more accurate and pleasing composition.

Fascinated by a construction step by step, where they were used ADA products, I wanted to play like an aquarium (Much smaller in size) and cheaper alternative products.
The aquarium is 70 liters with filter change. This is my first aquarium in the years and has seen different versions, but perhaps this is more unusual because I used a double bottom supported. For many, this type of fund may already be familiar, but for others it may be a new experience to discover. In the future I plan to replace a few plants of Arrowhead with the Echinodorus tenellus, but currently there are only two and a bit 'rickety ;-))




And finally I decided to also change the park lights of my aquarium, replacing my old t8 with a 23 watt energy saving bulb 860. After reaching the peace of mind I finally took the final photograph of the finished work.

months ago, I was lucky enough to play Corydoras Sterbai. These beautiful pieces created by their coupling about 50 eggs (see photo ). Unfortunately, only half proved fruitful. With the many experience with reproductions of other species of Corydoras, I managed to save them all.
